Travelling

The island is connected coastal with certain islands of Dodecanese (Leros, Kalimnos, Kos, Nisiros, Rhodes) and with Piraeus (tel. 0030-210-4593000, 0030-22430-61208, 0030-22410-28888).

With plane from Athens, the winter become four flights per week of (duration 50 min) while the summertime are executed daily itineraries (tel. 0030-210-3530000 and 0030-22430-61665).

Locomotions in the interior: Buses or small ships connect the villages, the beaches and the around islets.

With your own yacht

The harbour of Astipalea is not enough protected from the winds. Arming closed bight of Analipsis and Vathi are more suitable in order to leave your yacht. In the harbour you can find water, while for fuel there are stations in Chora.
